Blessing Bags Ministry

Jesus reminds us, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40).

Our Blessing Bags Ministry is one simple way we live out Christ’s call to love and serve our neighbors in need.

Blessing Bags are kits packed with essentials tailored to the season. They are compact enough that people can store several in their car and easily hand them out to anyone in need of resources. These bags are meant to care for both physical wellbeing and personal dignity—offering warmth, nourishment, and a reminder that people are seen, loved, and not forgotten. Along with practical items, we include words of peace and comfort in the name of our Lord.

We give because God has first been generous to us. We are free to be generous because He is generous. As Scripture says, “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7)

And again, “If anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him?” (1 John 3:17)
