WE’RE SAVING A SEAT FOR YOU!
We know that visiting a church for the first time can be a bit overwhelming. What you need to know is that we are a community of broken people, for broken people, discovering together how God has a purpose for our lives. That's what drives us, and we're saving a seat for you!
Browse through the info below to learn more about us and please call or email us if you have any questions. We would love to meet you!
Service times
Our regular service times are Sunday morning at 9:00am and Wednesday evening at 6:30pm.*
Holy Communion is offered at both of these regular worship services.
*Except there are no Wednesday services on Holy Week and those immediately following Christmas and Easter.
Worship style
On the first and third Sundays each month we use the traditional Lutheran liturgy found in the Lutheran Service Book.
On the second and fourth Sundays we celebrate in a contemporary liturgy based on Creative Worship.
For months with a fifth Sunday we have a special service between the Spring and Fall months and a holiday format service between the Fall and Spring months.
We offer in-person and online services and Bible Studies. On Sunday Service is online and in-person at 9am and our Wednesday Service is at 6:30pm in-person only. Our Sunday morning Bible Study is in-person and online at 10:30 am. We are so glad you are here!
What about the worship service?
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend worship where God gives His gifts of forgiveness, life, and salvation through His Word and Sacraments. The services are printed out and some elements are projected on screen to make it easy to follow along.
What about my children?
We love children at Redemption and we value families worshiping together. We firmly believe the most important people influencing the faith formation of a child are parents and grandparents. One of the key ways children learn about God is by watching their parents worship and imitating them. We do not have a staffed nursery during worship, but we have an unstaffed nursery available for any families that need a place for their kids to get their wiggles out. A television is available in that room for families that wish to still participate in the service from the nursery.
What should I wear?
At Redemption, we believe that what is on the inside matters most. And, although we are all unworthy of God’s great love, He wants you to come as you are…and so do we. That is why the dress code runs the gamut from dresses, skirts, and slacks to khakis, jeans, and even shorts.
